About us

Maverley Gospel Hall has been around from 1958 (over fifty [50] years). These years memorialize the pioneers, the prayer warriors, the company of believers in faith, the cheerful givers,  evangelists and ministers far and near and countless others who gave support over the years as they identified with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. the present community owes a debt of gratitude to those who have gone before. These saints weren't always housed in the tall structure that now stands at 100 1/4 Molynes Road. Services were held under a Guinep Tree, but through hard work, prayers and donations from the saints we were able to build not only the kingdom but also the physical structure itself.

Maverley Gospel Hall has been through several seasons as the Lord fashioned for Himself a called out witness.  In each season God had appointed a man to put in place His mind for the community. Individuals over the years have been evaluated and installed as Elders. At present these individuals are: Elder Alfred McDonald, Elder Owen MacDonald, Elder Dennis Morrison, Elder Lascelles Bailey, Elder & Pastor Napoleon Black and Associate Pastor Richard Jarrett.

Throughout the years the Lord has taken us on a journey to Himself as a community and we have been able to have the opportunity to be involved in Evangelism, Community involvement and Education. We are also affiliated with Gordon's Memorial Kinder and Preparatory School, located on the church grounds.
